Hi, I’m Doug, the president of PROSBO, Inc. and the creator of the pajezy.com website authoring and website editing program.

Pajezy.com is a web-based web site editor (which means there is no software to download).  It was created especially for smaller business owners. We designed it with smaller business owners in mind—as a matter of fact, my company’s mission is to help small business owners attract more clients, increase their satisfaction, and make more money.

After spending 20 years in bi-vocational pastoral ministries, I was broke.  I was looking for a way to create a casual income stream for me that would provide well for my family, and create an environment that would allow me to pursue the things for which I was truly passionate.

The company is called PRO-SBO which simply means “For” Small Business Owners.  I started off doing a lot of research.  Although I already had a pretty good idea about the problems small businesses were facing, I wanted more rock-solid data. 

We collected this data through hundreds of interviews with small business owners and thousands and thousands of direct mail questionnaires with business reply mail prepaid response cards attached.

Topping the list for what smaller business owners said they needed was “effective and affordable marketing” - stated in about a half dozen different ways.

It was not what I really think they needed most, however, and still don’t.  Though it is vital, and PROSBO is aggressively addressing this need, I am still convinced that their greatest single need is EDUCATION, but most small business owners are simply too ignorant to know this.

That is why we offer “unsolicited” educational help to all of our clients.  They need the help, and we are in business to help small business owners, but they just don’t know enough to ask the right questions, so we help them out by asking the questions for them, and then providing the answers.

You have probably heard it said that most small businesses fail because they are undercapitalized.  That is just wrong!  They failed because they failed to educate themselves about how to succeed in business.  Why did they run out of money? - Was it because they “thought they would have enough?” -  Well they were wrong, that that is NOT an economics issue, it is an educational deficit.

So why do I do this?  Because if my clients don’t succeed and therefore remain in business, they will no longer be buying my services! — and I happen to love people, too.  I had better admit that as well.

Sorry, I’m getting a bit sidetracked … so lets get back on track to where pajezy.com comes into this story.

The internet is not only here to stay, the importance of e-commerce and e-marketing is only going to continue to grow, and watch out print advertising, because the internet is going to continue to take a bigger chunk away from you.

Have we had some small businesses “outgrow” pajezy.com?  Yes, but we have not lost them as customers, we simply designed a custom solution for them — and charged them more.

If our users will follow the simple instructions provided when adding content to their websites, their sites will truly be “Search Engine Friendly.”

The pajezy.com Web site editor has a PLUGIN that provides a gateway to these services.  For clients to add the SEO program to their regular pajezy.com subscription, they MUST be hosted on one of our servers.

When a pajezy.com subscriber is using the advanced SEO service, their will be content managed on their Web site that will be changed by the SEO program administrators regularly, and although this content is visible on the live Web site, it is not visible in the pajezy.com editor.  (Users see a block that says, “Managed Content—Cannot Edit” instead.

This is necessary to keep the users again from “breaking” our SEO efforts on their behalf.
