Dialup Internet
The "original" internet service requires only a modem and a phone line.

Multi-Link Internet
The "last resort" internet service for those that want high speed but cannot get any other affordable service. It requires only a two modems and a two hone lines. This service "doubles" your speeds, and you can usually configure it to use one or both phone lines, depending upon the speed that you want (and whether or not you need a phone line open). Speeds of single (56k) or double (112k) are available.

ISDN ( Intergrated Services Digital Network )
Usually considered a business solution, requiring the installation of a digital phone line from your local phone company. Speeds are sold as single (64k) or double-speed (128k).

DSL ( Digital Subscriber Line )
